What is the pricing model for SiteWizard CMS?
You don't need to spent thousands of dollars-up front to get a great website!
SiteWizard CMS is an online Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) product. It is available through a low monthly or annual subscription price. Your subscription includes use of the SiteWizard CMS software application, website hosting, email hosting, technical support and future product improvements. We are continually improving our CMS product and new features are available to our subscribers at no additional cost.
What is the up-front cost for SiteWizard CMS?
The up-front cost depends on the subscription plan you choose. Monthly subscriptions only require one month's payment plus a small setup fee. Annual subscriptions require up-front payment for the year plus a small setup fee, but annual plans include a substantial discount. We have a very generous cancellation policy, so you have no risk in trying SiteWizard CMS for 30 days.
Does SiteWizard offer a discount for non-profit organizations?
The Church version of SiteWizard CMS already includes a discount in its pricing compared to the Business version. Churches and non-profit agencies should purchase the Church version.
If I buy during a sale, do I still get the sale price on recurring payments?
You will continue to get the same discount that you received upon sign-up on your recurring monthly or annual subscription payments. We take good care of our customers and work hard to keep your business, so we don't want to ruin our relationship with unexpected or unannounced rate increases that would affect our existing customers.
What forms of payment does SiteWizard accept?
We presently accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover for all SiteWizard services including monthly CMS subscriptions. Payment by check is only available on annual SiteWizard CMS subscriptions, custom design and programming services. If you wish to sign up for an annual subscription by check, please contact us
What is the billing cycle for SiteWizard CMS?
You can purchase SiteWizard CMS on a monthly or annual basis. "Monthly" subscriptions recur every 30 days. "Annual" subscriptions recur every 365 days. Payment is due at the beginning of the service period. For example: monthly service for the period of Sept. 1 through Sept. 30 would be charged by credit card on Sept. 1.
Does SiteWizard offer a 30-day money-back guarantee?
Yes - We offer full money back on subscriptions canceled within 30 days of purchase. As long as you cancel within 30 days of your initial purchase, your monthly or annual subscription will be refunded along with subscription-related setup fees. We cannot offer refunds for other services, including (but not limited to): custom design, custom programming, content migration, data import and plan overages. What if I cancel early? Do I get any money back?
Monthly and annual SiteWizard CMS Subscriptions canceled within 30 days of purchase are covered by our 30-day money-back guarantee. Monthly plans canceled after 30 days will not receive any refund for the subscription or the setup fee; instead their subscription will be canceled at the end of their current billing cycle. For example: if a monthly subscription is canceled on day 45, no refund will be given and the subscription will end after day 60.
Annual plans canceled after 30 days may receive a partial refund. When an annual plan is canceled early, it is treated as a monthly plan that was prepaid. Annual discounts will be nullified because the annual commitment was not honored. For example: if an annual subscription is canceled after 6.5 months (195 days), the customer's subscription would terminate at the 7 month mark, so this customer would be refunded their annual payment minus 7 months of service rendered.
If I leave SiteWizard, can I take my website with me?
Yes and no. Because SiteWizard CMS is a fully hosted Software-as-a-Service application we cannot provide a full copy of your website to install on another web host. SiteWizard CMS is our proprietary intellectual property, so it is not possible to give away copies of our software.

Is hosting included in my SiteWizard subscription?
Yes, absolutely. SiteWizard CMS is a fully hosted Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution. We take care of the technical stuff so you can focus on your website's content. Each subscription plan includes a different amount of file storage; check your specific plan for details.
Is email included in my SiteWizard subscription?
Yes, definitely. We include SmarterMail Enterprise with our SiteWizard CMS subscriptions. SmarterMail is an enterprise-quality email solution that rivals Microsoft Exchange. Each subscription plan includes a different limit on user accounts and email storage; check your specific plan for details.
Can I access my SiteWizard CMS website via FTP?
Yes and no. Because SiteWizard CMS is a software program, we cannot give you full FTP access to your website. However, we do provide a folder for website file storage (documents, images, multimedia). This folder can be accessed through the administrative tools (Admin > File Manager). If the File Manager is not sufficient for your needs you may submit a support ticket to request FTP access to your website folder.
What kind of support is included with SiteWizard CMS?
We include helpful USA-based support with all of our subscription plans. We provide an online support website where you can watch tutorial videos or search and read knowledge-base articles. You can also submit tickets through the support website. During support hours we also provide a "live support" online chat on our main website and our support website.
Phone support is only available to Platinum level SiteWizard CMS subscribers. Other subscription levels may pay for phone assistance per support call. During phone support we may invite you to join a screen sharing session so that we can better assist you.
What are your support hours?
Our office is typically open Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM Eastern. Phone support and live chat may be unavailable during holidays or company events, but the online knowledge-base and ticket submission system is available 24/7/365.
Can I purchase training sessions?
We can provide online webinar training sessions for an additional fee. In-person training sessions are generally not available due to the high cost of travel.
How does SiteWizard CMS compare to other website builder solutions?
Comparing SiteWizard CMS to the average "site builder" is like comparing a car to a bicycle. They both claim to do the same thing, but only one of them has the power to take you where you want to go. We don't aim to compete with $10/month bargain-basement solutions. We are giving users an enterprise-grade website content management system at a fraction of the cost of comparable solutions.

Does SiteWizard match competitor pricing?

Does SiteWizard CMS include a domain name, or do I need to buy one?
We do not
include top-level domain names (example: www.yourcompany.com
) with SiteWizard CMS. It is your responsibility to acquire and pay associated fees for domain registration. We do offer a free third-level subdomain (example: yourcompany
.sitewizard.net), but we recommend that you obtain a top-level domain name for your website.
Does SiteWizard sell domain names?
SiteWizard is not a domain registrar, but we are an authorized reseller for a popular registrar. You can purchase a domain name through our reseller website
Do I need to transfer my domain to SiteWizard's registrar?
No. You can keep your current domain registrar. You don't need need to buy a domain from us or use our nameservers. We do recommend that you use you use our DNS nameservers, but this is not required. If you wish to use a third party DNS server, we can provide you with the appropriate DNS setup information. Please submit a support ticket for any DNS related questions.
